This video features scenes from Taipei 101 — one of the world’s tallest buildings, XiMenDing — the hangout area for teenagers in Taipei, a visit to MaoKong for some traditional Chinese tea, and a visit to a Night Market. The video concludes with a visit to LongShan Temple, and an overview of food typical to Taiwan, including Xiao Long Bao from Din Tai Fung, Shaved Ice from Ice Monster, and Banana Milk.

Jiu Fen Taiwan Travel Video

Chris explores a very interesting musuem in the Jiu Fen town of Taiwan. Chris tries on various traditional Taiwanese outfits, and practices his abacus skills. Jiu Fen is an old gold mining that had it’s peak during Japan rule of Taiwan 1895 – 1945. Jiu Fen is now a tourist town for residents of Taipei.

For more on our trip to Jiu Fen — check out Tanya’s blog for directions to Jiu Fen and pictures of the food.
