This past Saturday, Tanya and I went to visit Luray Caverns. Ever since I’ve been in DC, I’ve wanted to visit the Caverns, but just hadn’t made it out there. Definitely glad we did, as it was a pretty cool experience.
Luray Caverns is the largest underground cave on the east coast — with the typical rock formations growing from the ceiling and floor. Enough words — go watch the video!

The annual Cherry Blossom Festival begins in Washington DC this weekend, and the blossoms are starting to bloom. Below are some pictures I took walking around the tidal basin by the Jefferson Memorial today.
This past weekend I visited the National Zoo in Washington DC. This video takes you on a tour of the “Bird House” area of the zoo, including a look at the Toucan, Peacock, Burrowing Owl, Parrot, and my favorite — the flamingos!
Alright — so I’m finally settled in to DC, and figured it’s time to show off my apartment — MTV Cribs style. Check it out yo! Ya’ll better check yo’self before you reck yo’self! Foshizzle! Aiiiiiiight!

Yesterday I went to check out the Maryland State Fair 2009. This video includes highlights of the fair — particularly cows, and the trained cow competition, the rides, and the food. Check it out for some good old hometown fair fun!
The last and final episode of my cross country to Washington. The final part of this saga begins in Knoxville, TN, through Virginia, and in to Washington DC.

Day #4 of my cross country drive. Starting out in Little Rock, Arkansas — home of Bill Clinton and his presidential spaceship….. err… I mean presidential library. Then on to Tennesee for some Memphis BBQ and the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
This is the home stretch… Day #5 coming soon!

My third day on the road… Started in Amarillo, TX.. a pretty civilized city, although there was the fragrant smell of animal poop in the air . Stopped at the best freewat rest stop ever in Texas — they even have Wi-fi at the rest stop! Now we can all use the toilet, and browse the net at the same time… all the comforts of home.
For dinner I stopped in Oklahoma for some BBQ at Wild Horse Mountain BBQ — mmmm.
Day #2 on my cross country drive. Starting off in Flagstaff Arizona — unlike Phoenix, where it was 115 degrees and my shoes were melting, Flagstaff has pine trees and was only 80 degrees. I almost got eaten by dinosaurs, and chowed on some great Tex-Mex in Albequerque.
Earlier this month I packed up all my stuff in my car, and like a travelling nomad took the journey across this great country of ours. I drove from San Diego, CA to Washington DC in 5 days — all with only 1 speeding ticket.
