Appreciated your in depth reviews of hotels. I am deciding between Renaissance arc de triumph- great location and like ambiance but am spoiled and really appreciate executive lounges. I am staying at either on Marriott points, arc de triumph did not offer any upgrades, rive gauche offered to upgrade to executive lounge. Trying to decide if will be disappointed in staying so far outside the center of paris. have not been to paris in 20 years and trying to remember how much extra time will need to allot for travel. Also best bet on transfer from CDG to rive gauche. Any insights or votes for which hotel would be appreciated. Coming mid may

I am guessing that a black egg tastes about the same as a white egg. I thought the swan boats were interesting. Over all another fun travel video.

Thanks for the posting. I am trying to find which marriott to stay at in paris for points. It seems like this hotel has variations room to room based on other reviews and photos, but yours was the most informative and entertaining. Thanks!

Yes — this was indeed in the newer residential annex.
