And one of its most high profile uses is in chat bots that can answer your questions. The most well known is called ChatGPT. The GPT in ChatGPT stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer.

A far cry from the scripted responses of chatbots that have underwhelmed people for years, these generative AI systems create human-like text that is contextually relevant and coherent.

You might be initially underwhelmed using simple questions. But as your prompts become more nuanced, you get increasingly better information.
