Santa Monica’s Trendy Downtown & Third Street Promenade

Located just above the Santa Monica Pier, Downtown Santa Monica is one of the premier shopping and dining areas on the Westside of Los Angeles. The center-piece of Downtown Santa Monica is the Third Street Promenade a pedestrian mall esplanade with tons of restaurants, shops, public art (dinosaurs) and easy parking in the large parking garages along the promenade operated by the city of Santa Monica. I start this walk at the Santa Monica Pier, and conclude at the intersection of Third Street and Wilshire Blvd, in front of one of “The Dinosaurs of Santa Monica.”
