Uber announced that they are starting to offer in-app tipping on June 20, 2017. Is this for the drivers, for the customers, or because Uber thought they’d be forced to do it anyways? After two class action lawsuits and a potential ruling by the New York Taxi and Limo commission the writing may have been on the wall for uber tipping, but I for one am not a fan. What do you think about Uber’s new in-app tipping option?
