A 360 Degree video of the festivities outside of San Diego Comic Con 2016. While the “official” activities are inside the convention center, Comic Con takes over most of the Gaslamp district in downtown San Diego. The busiest area is on 5th Avenue by the trolley stop, right in front of the central entrance to the Convention Center.
In this video I walk down one block of 5th avenue and point out all the craziness going on. And yes, it’s so crowded it takes 5 minutes to walk one block. So if you’ve ever wondered “Is it worth it to come Downtown without a Comic Con ticket?” The answer is yes!
