The new 2018 Disney Paint the Night Parade at Disney California Adventure Park. Filmed from the Sonoma Terrace Paint the Night Reception reserved viewing area. This parade began in Hong Kong Disney in 2014 and debuted at Anaheim Disneyland in 2015. As of April 13, 2018 Paint the Night Parade has begun showing at Disney California Adventure. Paint the Night features over 1 million LED lights and 76 performers. Sorcerer Mickey is the star of the parade. Other Disney characters that appear in the parade include: Tinker Bell, Ariel, Belle, Buzz and Woody, Mike and Sulley, Peter Pan, Rapunzel, Mr. Incredible, and Mrs Incredible.
The parade runs once on weekdays, and twice on weekends. This was shot at the “Sonoma Terrace Paint the Night Reception” which is a reserved viewing area that includes a charcuterie plate and drinks for $79 per person.
