Travel to and within Hawaii will soon be easier if you’ve been vaccinated against COVID-19. Hawaii is close to launching it’s vaccine passport so that vaccinated people can skip the mandatory 10-day quarantine. For those choosing not to be vaccinated, the current system of “test out of quarantine” will likely continue to be an option. The state has said vaccination will be an “option” — not a requirement.

Phase 1: Targeted at March 1: Essential workers who have been vaccinated will be allowed to travel without quarantine first.

Phase 2: Interisland travel April 1.

Phase 3: Mainland Travel targeting May 1.

What about the mask mandate? That’s likely to stay until Hawaii reaches herd immunity.
