Everything YOU need to know about Las Vegas’s reopening this summer. As of May 1 the state of Nevada has lifted it’s social distancing mandate. Clark County where Las Vegas resides is now creating the mandates. Public gatherings are allowed at 80% occupancy, and the social distancing measure is now 3 feet instead of 6.

Restaurants can now book groups of 12 (up from 6)

Self Service buffets can return. Each station must be supervised by an employee, hand sanitizer is offered to patrons, and service utensils are changed out every hour.
Cosmopolitan’s Wicked Spoon is already open. Thursday to Sunday 8 to 3.
Wynn is planning to reopen July 1st.
Caesars is hiring for staff at the Bacchanel buffet.. So that should open soon to.

Nightclubs and dayclubs will be able to reopen without just reserved seating.. Not as lounges, but as clubs. Dance floors still closed. Capacity here is 50%. “Adult Entertainment” can also reopen. Adult performers will need to get vaccinated or a weekly COVID-19 test to be within 3 feet of customers. Larry Flynts hustler club is offering fully vaccinated will receive a Platinum Membership card, a complimentary bottle, free dances from a vaccinated entertainer

And yes.. The “Ranches” are opening too… you know.. The Chicken Ranch, The Mustang Ranch. Apparently there’s huge pent up demand here. An article in “The Daily Beast” says many of them are booked up full for the month of May.

Hot tubs and spas can be reopened.

Masks are still required. The capacity and social distancing requirements will be removed when 60% of the population gets at least one COVID shot. That number is currently at 46%. That’s when dance floors at nightclubs can reopen. Until this restriction is removed all shows, concerts, sporting events, etc are required to have assigned seating.

The Pinball Hall of Fame Museum is now open on the Las Vegas Strip.

Omega Mart is now open at Area 15.

Resorts World opens on June 24. three Hilton hotel brands under one umbrella: Las Vegas Hilton, Crockfords and Conrad. Celin Dion, DJ Tiesto, Katy Perry, and Carrie Underwood. Likely not the whole place opening then… in particular the nightclub and theater are opening sometime later.

Two of the biggest Nightclub operators in Las Vegas are now one. Tao group (Own by Madison Square Garden) has purchased Hakkasan… the new merged company operates:
Tao at Venetian, Marquee at Cosmo, Lavo Italian restaurant at Venetian, Beauty & Essex at Cosmo, Hakkasan at MGM Grand, Omnia at Caesars Palace, Jewel Nightclub at Aria and others.

Mystere reopens at TI on June 28
O reopens at Bellagio on July 1

The show Celestia has closed at the STRAT. This one was one of Cirque’s newest shows and it opened just before the Pandemic in June of 2019.

Palms is still not reopened… but it may soon because Palms Casino has been sold to the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. This is now the 2nd Native American run casino in Las Vegas after the Virgin hotel.

Weekends are getting quite busy. Room rates are still quite inexpensive… weekdays are still slow… with many things still closed on weekdays (Like the Wicked Spoon).

When June comes around the Gov of Nevada has said his goal is for 100% capacity.
